Mediaset: Milan battling rivals Atalanta and Napoli for Ivory Coast international

AC Milan are one of three teams in the running to land Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga in the upcoming transfer window, according to a report.

It was reported by SportMediaset on Friday that both Milan and Napoli are taking a look at Boga, adding that Sassuolo value the player at €20million while Chelsea have a buy-back set at €16m.

MilanNews then confirmed the Rossoneri’s interest, adding that his ability to play both a 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2 has enthused the club’s scouts ahead of Ralf Rangnick’s possible arrival.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan have indeed got an interest in the 23-year-old, but they are joined by Serie A rivals Napoli and Atalanta.

The report once again mentions that Chelsea are essentially the first hurdle, as they must reject the option they have to purchase the Ivorian for €16m to give the aforementioned trio a chance of signing him this summer.
