Mediaset: Milan could turn to Real Madrid man as Man Utd block loan exit for 22-year-old

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could very soon turn to Real Madrid in their search for a back-up right-back as Manchester United continue to play hardball over Diogo Dalot.

That is according to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), who confirm that Milan are in talks with United to try and re-sign Dalot, but the Red Devils do not seem willing to let him leave on loan again at the moment. Should the deal fall through, the Rossoneri already have an alternative ready, namely Alvaro Odriozola of Real Madrid.

The Spanish full-back has been with Real Madrid since the summer of 2018 when he was signed from Real Sociedad for a sum close to €30m (as per multiple sources) but could move on this summer after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich, who had an option to buy as part of the deal but have chosen not to exercise it. His future, therefore, could be in Italy.
