Mediaset: Milan enquire about two other targets as Chelsea refuse to budge on Bakayoko

AC Milan appear no closer to securing the return of Tiemoue Bakayoko despite continuous contacts with Chelsea, a report claims.

According to SportMediaset (via MilanLive), those who spoke of negotiations being close to completion are in fact wide of the mark, and it is Chelsea’s resistance that is to blame,

A few days ago, Milan raised their offer to a €3m loan fee plus an option to buy set at €27m (including bonuses), but the Blues are believed to be demanding the option to buy being €30m.

It is an almost minimal difference, but Milan certainly do not like the rigidity of Chelsea, given the fact that the player wants the move and Frank Lampard does not consider him part of the plans.

In the meantime, Paolo Maldini probes the ground for alternatives and here have been contacts with the entourage of Florentino Luis and Boubakary Soumaré. Bakayoko remains the first choice and the Rossoneri are convinced they can unblock the situation within a few days.
