Mediaset: Milan eyeing 22-year-old Italian to complete centre-forward department

AC Milan are not only looking at the signing of Olivier Giroud for the striker position as an old name has been rekindled, a report claims.

According to what Claudio Raimondi has reported for SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan will not stop after the signing of Olivier Giroud as a free agent from Chelsea because the Rossoneri are in fact looking for another centre-forward on the market – a young profile to grow alongside two experiences champions.

In the last few hours the name of Gianluca Scamacca has re-emerged again, the Sassuolo forward who played last season on loan at Genoa. However, there is still no real negotiation between the two clubs at present, but it is clear that he fits the type of profile that Milan would be after: young, with high potential, a low salary and likely a lower cost than Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic.
