AC Milan are ready to try and sink the blow for their main defensive target Wesley Fofana but first of all need a sale, a report claims.
Milan can only call upon Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia at present given that Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte are all currently out, meaning a signing for the centre-back department must be secured sooner rather than later.
MilanNews are reporting that the ‘opportunity’ could be Wesley Fofana, as the 19-year-old has been the subject dozens of positive reports from the Milan scouts and they believe he could be a starter for at least 10 years.
According to SportMediaset on Monday (via MilanNews), Milan’s number one target for defence is indeed Fofana. The Rossoneri are ready to attack, but first they will have to sell Lucas Paqueta.
However, there is also a low-cost alternative in Matija Nastasic of Schalke 04, who could arrive on a loan with option to buy deal.
