Mediaset: Milan want three more in to complete squad after Bakayoko-Brahim-Tonali triple swoop

AC Milan are still looking to bring in three more signings after a potential triple swoop for the midfield, according to a report.

SportMediaset are reporting that Paolo Maldini wants to secure a double swoop for Tiemoue Bakayoko and Sandro Tonali within a week, but then he will turn his attention to other areas.

First of all Brahim Diaz is set to join from Real Madrid, as Milan have reached an agreement with Los Blancos and the player has given his approval to the move.

In terms of other profiles for the midfield Tommaso Pobega renewed his contract earlier in the week and should remain at Pioli’s disposal; while the club are considering a move for Atalanta’s Matteo Pessina.

Mediaset believe the most likely destination is Milanello for Pessina, who Milan have a 50% resale clause on after they sold him to Atalanta as part of the deal for Andrea Conti three years ago.

After that the Rossoneri will have to work on sales complete the squad without further disbursements. The situation of Lucas Paquetà remains to be evaluated, for whom at the moment no offers have been received that are considered satisfactory, while the future of Leo Duarte, Davide Calabria and Andra Conti remain to be defined .

All are complicated exits, but ones which would free up space for a centre-back (German Pezzella of Fiorentina the latest linked), a right-back (Aurier) and a winger (a role that Brahim could also play).
