Mediaset: Milan working hard on trio of signings – all three want to join

AC Milan are working on three signings above all at the moment and it would see three problem areas addressed, a report claims.

According to reports from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan are one step away from closing the purchase of Christian Pulisic. He is ‘one step away’ from the Rossoneri, because Chelsea are expected to accept the bid of €18m fixed plus €4m bonuses.

Decisive news is expected between tonight and tomorrow, while a four-year contract worth €4m net per season is ready for the forward to sign.

The Rossoneri don’t want to stop there and would like to close another signing before Monday’s meeting for preseason. Stefano Pioli is pushing to have Tijjani Reijnders in the squad, but there is still distance between the €20m offered and the €25m AZ Alkmaar want.

Meanwhile, Alvaro Morata wants to return to play in Italy and for this reason he has already given the go-ahead for a potential transfer to Milan. The Spanish striker has a high salary (€6.5m net per season), but he would be prepared to reduce it.

The alternative is Gianluca Scamacca, and Milan have proposed an exchange deal involving Divock Origi, but West Ham have said no.
