AC Milan have made an offer to Porto to try and land right winger Jesus Corona, according to a report.
In today’s edition of SportMediaset (via MilanLive), Claudio Raimondi has confirmed the recent indiscretions suggesting that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have a concrete interest in Jesus Corona. Negotiations with Porto are underway and Milan have already presented their first offer, which is €10m plus €2m in bonuses.
The 28-year-old is just one year from the expiration of his contract but Porto currently want to raise as much as they possibly can and that is why €20m is the current asking price – a figure Milan are certainly not willing to pay.
It seems that there could well be a tug-of-war in the last week of the transfer market between the two clubs. If the deal does not go through, the Rossoneri are likely to turn to Junior Messias from Crotone.
