Mediaset: Negotiation to take Milan star Donnarumma to Juventus is ‘well underway’

By Oliver Fisher -

Negotiations between Juventus and AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma regarding a move to Turin are ‘well underway’, a report claims.

There are doubts regarding the future of Donnarumma, whose deal expires in 2021 meaning Milan must either agree a renewal or consider selling their prized young asset so as to risk not losing him for a free.

SportMediaset reported earlier in the week that there are still unknowns, but the will of both sides seems to be moving in the direction of continuing their relationship together.

The knot for the renewal remains his €6m-a-year salary, but Elliott may be willing to make an exception and give him a one or even two-year extension to push the crossroads further down the line.

According to the latest from the same outlet, Juventus have held increasingly close talks with Mino Raiola for various objectives, with Donnarumma among them.

They claim that talks between Juve and Raiola are ‘increasingly frequent’, and that the negotiation to take Donnarumma to Turin is ‘well underway’.
