AC Milan remain in the running to sign Renato Sanches and Sven Botman from Lille and they are planning to use the will of the two players.
According to SportMediaset (via MilanNews), PSG’s interest in Renato Sanches is concrete but the option of moving to Milan remains very much alive. The Rossoneri have not yet resigned themselves in the race and the negotiations have not yet ended, because the Portuguese midfielder has given preference to Milan.
The back-up plan is Jordan Veretout of Roma, a profile that Paolo Maldini in particular is an admirer of, but Marseille are also keen and the current asking price is €10m for the Frenchman.
Regarding Botman, Newcastle and PSG are also keen on the player and the risk now is that an auction will be unleashed. The Rossoneri do not intend to raise their bid, because the Dutch defender has promised himself to Milan for a long time now. Gleison Bremer of Torino is the alternative.
