Mediaset: Rangnick will have €75m budget at Milan – three names on his wish list

The new AC Milan squad will be young, talented but also experienced. With Ralf Rangnick at the helm, the Rossoneri are hoping that they will return to the absolute top of football.

By now, the key points that the German wants to implement at the club are well known. His Milan will closely follow the path that both RB Leipzig and Salzburg have taken in recent years, relying on youth to improve sporting results.

SportMediaset (via Milanlive.it) have listed three players that are on Rangnick’s wish list, all of which have been mentioned in recent weeks. Florentino Luis and Eduardo Quaresma are concrete targets, although the price tag of the former is an obstacle.

Milan will try to lower Benfica’s claims by inserting Lucas Paqueta in the deal, as the Brazilian is destined to leave the club this summer. As for Quaresma, the negotiations are complex as Sporting Lisbon are working to extend the contract.

However, the hot name is that of Martin Odegaard, who has been linked with the Rossoneri in recent hours. The Norweigan talent is currently on loan at Real Sociedad from Real Madrid and has ended up on Rangnick’s radar.

Should Sociedad fail to hold him back, the Milan will step forward and use their good relations with Real Madrid. Rangnick will have a €75m budget at his disposal this summer, as the report concludes.
