Mediaset: Two things on Ibrahimovic’s mind as he edges closer to a return

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is working hard to recover from the injury he sustained in the game against Roma, forcing him to miss the first leg against Man Utd. However, he wants to be there for the deciding game next week.

According to SportMediaset (via MilanLive), as the recovery is proceeding in the right direction, the 39-year-old has two things on his mind: playing against Man Utd in the second leg and making a comeback in Sweden’s national.

Ibrahimovic is expected to be called up for Sweden’s WC qualifiers later this month, having flirted with head coach Janne Andersson for quite some time now. However, the Milan medical team is cautious about his return.

It’s impossible to tell today if he will be able to play against Man Utd, but playing for Sweden should be possible. It might not please the Rossoneri fans, as more games isn’t exactly what the Swede needs to stay fit until the end of the season.
