Both the technical and ownership levels of AC Milan are in agreement over the potential signing of Cengiz Under, according to a report.
Our mercato expert Vito Angele revealed last night that Milan haven’t given up on the idea of signing Under despite his high valuation, so much so that the Rossoneri could make a bid for the Turkey international in the coming hours.
He then provided an update on earlier on Thursday, telling us work is underway for an exchange of loans with option to buy involving Suso and Under, but at the moment there is still no agreement on the valuations of the two players.
Sportitalia then added that Under has become Milan’s number one target for the current transfer window, with the arrival of the 22-year-old potentially not linked to Suso going the other way.
Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) have provided an update by claiming that Under is Milan’s number one choice if Suso does leave this month, with a potential exchange not to be ruled out.
In addition, they add that both the technical area (Maldini, Boban, Massara and Pioli) and the Rossoneri’s owners Elliott Management are in agreement that he would represent a wise purchase due to his age, characteristics and current situation.
