Mediaset: Vlasic pursuit difficult due to €30m asking price – three alternatives emerge

AC Milan’s interest in Nikola Vlasic is strong but they have been met with the high demands of CSKA Moscow to sell, according to a report.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan’s attention on the market is always focused on the attacking midfielder position as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara look to give head coach Stefano Pioli a quality playmaker to replace Hakan Calhanoglu.

For Vlasic, the request of CSKA Moscow is always very high and the valuation of €30m makes it more unlikely that the Croatia international will join Milan this summer, as they are unable to pay that amount.

The alternative targets have all been linked before: Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea, Isco of Real Madrid and James Rodriguez of Everton. All three remain in the Rossoneri’s notebook, but there is now just two weeks left for Maldini and Massara to complete the squad available to Pioli.
