Mediaset: When Giroud, Ibrahimovic and Theo Hernandez should return to action

By Oliver Fisher -

An update has arrived from SportMediaset regarding the fitness of the AC Milan players who are currently out with injury.

According to the broadcaster (via MilanNews), striker Olivier Giroud is feeling better after recovering from a back problem and is aiming to play a segment of the match against Hellas Verona, while the next hours and training this afternoon will be decisive in seeing whether Zlatan Ibrahimovic can make the bench, but the Swede will not be risked.

It is more likely that the 40-year-old will return against Porto given that Pietro Pellegri was not included in the squad list for the Champions League.

Theo Hernandez meanwhile has caught Covid and could miss 3-4 games, but the Frenchman aims to return against Roma. Fode Ballo-Tourè should play in his place but it cannot be ruled out that Davide Calabria could shift to the left side and Pierre Kalulu come in on the right.
