CM: Meeting scheduled for end of the season as Rebic’s Milan future is uncertain

By Oliver Fisher -

Ante Rebic’s future at AC Milan is uncertain and a meeting is expected to clarify things at the end of the season, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report how Rebic’s future is still to be written. The Croatian forward lost his starting position on the left wing to Rafael Leao, so it is a situation that needs to be monitored. A meeting between his entourage and Milan is expected at the end of the season.

Rebic has not had the best of seasons so far given that he spent several weeks out with an injury and then since coming back he has failed to find the same levels from before, scoring only one goal in 2022 so far.

As mentioned, Leao has jumped above him to become the undisputed starter on the left side and the club appear willing to bet on him long term, so Rebic must either accept a rotational role or he may look to move on while in his prime at 28.

  1. I would like to keep rebic personally but I would not mind trying to get 30 million for him I would not sell him if he got back to his old form

  2. Second season in a row he lost over a dozen of games to a serious injury, it’s time to sell. Especially that Origi can cover the left wing too.

  3. He’s suffered injuries along with others in the squad where it seemed to be bad medical management. Then he needed some games to get back to his best. Who can bame the guy for not being 100% at the drop of a hat?

When he is 100% he has a lethal shot and a killer pass. He also tries and tries and tries until the final whistle. Keep him.
