Football super agent Jorge Mendes has concocted a plan that will see Rafael Leao join Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo head to AC Milan, a report claims.
As has been reported by Quotidiano Sportivo (via Milan News), the Portuguese agent who works with both Milan and Manchester United on occasion thinks he can please all parties with an elaborate swap deal.
His plan is for United to make a bid of €100-120 million for Portuguese star Leao, whilst also getting the Premier League side to loan Ronaldo to Milan for six months with the salary reduced to €8 million.
Ronaldo is expected to leave United this winter after multiple incidents, culminating in an interview with Piers Morgan where he said he does not respect coach Erik ten Hag.
Mendes also knows that Milan will want to sell Leao for a huge fee if they cannot get him to sign a new deal in the near future.

I can smell Ronaldo coming to Milan. But it doesn’t mean Leao has to go though. I think from a commercial perspective he can benefit the club, not to mention he’s actually a good goal scorer despite what the comments section says

Ummm ok. He isn’t as good taking free kicks as he used to, so what’s the point? He’s def good header of the ball. You dont have to be told anything just look at his stats. He was always a top 5 scorer in Serie A and everywhere he went. For Serie A he went from 4th to 1st and got better every season when he was here. When he went to a disjointed Man Utd, what happened? Top scorer once more. So yea, he is an incredible goal scorer plus his commercial value is still the highest. At 8m a season it’s a no brainer from a business perspective.
You guys understand that CR7 has half a billion on social and sold over a million shirts when he transferred back to Utd thereby easily taking care of the transfer fee and more.
Most people fail to understand ANYTHING regarding the finances around football clubs. E.g. Ever since leaving Ajax (or maybe already while there) Zlatan has brought the club more money via his shirt sales than he has earn salary. There was an article about it a few years ago (before his trip to MLS).
Most fans have no idea how huge amounts of money shirt sales of superstars bring in the clubs.
