By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Inter are continuing to give thought about attempting to hire Maurizio Sarri but they will have a tough job convincing him, a report claims.

The Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero (via TMW) focuses on the future of Sarri amid some speculation circulating that he could leave the capital at the end of the season. They state that the Tuscan-born coach intends to stay at Lazio, but it will depend on qualification for the Champions League.

The Biancoceleste head coach has in fact asked Lazio president Claudio Lotito for a revolution for some time and with fourth place, in order to stay, he wants four or five signings which are more suited to his idea of football.

In the meantime, other clubs are taking note of the situation. Milan made an enquiry with his entourage but it is above all Inter who are thinking about the former Chelsea boss, should Simone Inzaghi be sacked. Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton are also watching from abroad.
