Messaggero: Milinkovic-Savic set for Olimpico farewell as Milan and Juve watch

AC Milan and Juventus are interested in signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and at present there is no competition from abroad, a report claims.

According to a report from Il Messaggero (via MilanNews), Sunday’s against Cremonese should be Milinkovic-Savic’s last match at the Stadio Olimpico in a Lazio shirt and it could be confirmed if he gives the signal of it being a farewell at full-time.

The Serbia international has a contract which runs until June 2024 and he does not seem willing to entertain the idea of a renewal, which puts some pressure on Lazio’s president Claudio Lotito who is sticking to his guns for now and asking for €40m.

At present however no club intends to pay that figure. Juventus, for example, would like to get him for €25m plus bonuses, but the paper says to keep an eye on Milan as well who are keen on him. From abroad, until now everything is silent.
