Ahead of tomorrow’s game against Sassuolo, AC Milan are expected to make a few changes to their starting XI.
The game against the Neroverdi could be a decider in the Champions League race. Results would need to go their way, of course. However, they can, at the very least, take a giant step closer to Europe’s premier competition with three points this weekend.

Allegri makes changes
As Sky reports (see below), there will not be many changes to the starting XI this weekend. After all, there is little need to after the draw against Juventus.
At the back, a clean sheet means the defensive unit remains unchanged for the third successive game. Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic have all given assurances with their performances. So changes are unnecessary.
In the midfield, though, this is not the case. Alexis Saelemaekers, Youssouf Fofana and Adrien Rabiot will all retain their places. However, Ardon Jashari will be selected to replace Luka Modric, as expected. Then, Davide Bartesaghi will be replaced by Pervis Estupinan, after he struggled through the first half last weekend.
Up front, the expectation is that Christopher Nkunku will be given a rare chance alongside Rafael Leao. Both could depart in the summer, but the Frenchman particularly will need to show signs of life for any chance of remaining a Rossonero.

I really don’t understand why not try Gimenez and Pulisic again as that pairing really unblocked pulisic
Because Nkunku and Leão are going to be at the club next year. Pulisic and Gimenez won’t be.
Allegri Kepala Batu. Kacau ALLEGRI
