There has been a huge early surge in demand for tickets in the away sector for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash against Napoli.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there were a lot of fans who logged on and spent 20 minutes in the virtual waiting room on the Vivaticket website but only a lucky few managed to buy a ticket for Napoli versus Milan on 18 April.
The vast majority, once they got pas the queue page and got through to the website, found a screen with the message ‘Event not available’. The 3,500 tickets sold out very quickly to ensure that the Rossoneri are backed by a full away section in Naples.
Those who have remained empty-handed will have to be content with watching the game on TV, also because name changes are not allowed for reasons of public safety, and only Milan season ticket holders were able to attempt to buy one.
