The noise about Dusan Vlahovic potentially leaving Juventus for rivals AC Milan is growing in volume, but it will be a very difficult coup.
Calciomercato.com report that Milan are among the most active teams in the first portion of the summer. The new sporting director Igli Tare is working seven days a week to build a competitive squad in the shortest time possible according to the ideas of Massimiliano Allegri.
In the meetings that have taken place over the last few days, the need to focus decisively on a striker who can score double-digits guaranteed in Serie A emerged, a forward on which to build title ambitions.
Vlahovic: A concrete idea

Yes, true that. Both Gimenez and Jovic are very good in finishing and both are poachers, not some strikers that capable to build the attack from midfield. Same thing goes to Camarda
so wee need a dominant midfielders from defensive phase and attacking phase that guaranteed passes n crosses to our front. Bringing Dusan is overwhelming considersing we only play locally.

Moncada could have brought retegui 3 years ago for 15m, but didn’t. Now he wants to splash 35m or so on a player in the last year of his contract. Genius!!
If you’re gonna criticize for this then give him his flowers for getting Reijnders at 20m and selling him for triple.
While that’s true, we know the real issue with Moncada is that’s he’s a racist, he doesn’t like Italian players. No one takes more blame for the make-up of the squad than Moncada.

I still don’t understand this. Vlahovic is no different and no better than gimenez. At least gimenez hasn’t been seen enough where I’ve seen enough of vlahovic to see he’s over rated! Was he good at fiorentina? Sure, but the wages and the transfer fee is ludicrous.
If we’re in need of a striker someone like retegui or Lucca would be much preferred bjt I don’t see how we’re not giving gimenez a chance to lead the line.
So apart from Juventus u don’t have any other club to buy players from?

This would be a massive slap in the face to a lot of our loyal players to give vlahovic 7mil..I don’t care wife he makes 12 now… Point is that management have battle our players who have deserved pay raises… Theo had a bad year sure , but it was also due to the fault of the owners and directors involved in the clown show. they created a poisonous atmosphere and then they dare low ball Theo on the renewal for less than he is making now.. I hope tare can offer something better. Id still pay Theo 5 or 6 with lots of bonuses/incentives on top to take him up to 7/7.5..but those bonuses are champions league winning and league winning and Coppa Italia winning alllll dependant. Coming in top 4 shouldn’t be rewarded as it is expected

Quite bold of them to say that.
There were several players who underperformed throughout most of the 2023/2024 season but bounced back strongly. Retegui, for example, ended up as Serie A’s top scorer. Moise Kean, discarded by Juventus, also showed flashes of quality. Even Tammy Abraham surprised many with his goal contributions despite limited minutes.
So, Vlahovic having a poor season doesn’t mean he’s a finished player. The same can be said for some of our own stars like Maignan, Theo, and Leão. They’re well aware of their inconsistency and are working hard to return to top form.
That said, in my opinion, striker is the least of our concerns. We already invested in Giménez during the winter window and he scored goals despite limited play time and not being fully fit. We could simply renew Jović’s contract and promote Camarda as the third choice, unless we plan to use a two-striker system.
Instead of focusing on Vlahovic, we should direct our efforts toward strengthening the midfield and defense. Plus, offering a five-year contract at €7 million per year for a player who still poses a risk seems excessive.

So who will ACM sell next to fund this buying if this rumour true ? Who will the next sacrifice? If you put good midfielder & wing back to support Santi , he can score more than 20 goal on serie A. I would prefer tare try hard for cambiasso instead buying new toy striker
Get Brazilian striker or Eastern Europe striker. Milan has good story from Brazilian and Eastern Europe striker.
