Santiago Gimenez is likely to leave AC Milan this summer and an exit is currently being worked on, with several reports offering some insight.
It is no secret that Milan and Gimenez have not worked. Last summer, he was all but pushed out of the club and now he is heading to the door again, albeit more willingly this time.

Of course, it seemed that the striker may have been forced to stay with his injury during the World Cup, but there has been interest and now it could be acted upon.
Gimenez heading out
According to Matteo Moretto, as relayed by MilanNews, negotiations have begun between Porto and the Rossoneri. Despite his injury, all parties are seeking a move, allowing him to start a new chapter once he returns.
The report from MilanNews also relays suggestions from Mexico, with Cesar Luis Merlo stating that negotiations are at an ‘advanced’ stage. A loan with a buy option is most likely currently, but the ideal would obviously be a loan with an obligation, if not a fee now.
Considering his record last season, if the Diavolo can part ways for a minimal loss, they will see it as a fantastic result for a striker who has not delivered after his initial signs of promise.

Am spus și o repet, atit cit acest imbecil numit ibrahimovici nu va fi dat afară in șuturi, milan va fi incontinuare un club de liga 2 a. Acest individ distuge clubul.
Inga optioner
One striker for league, cup, european cup, etc.
What could possibly go wrong?
We still have Ramos, Camarda, Kostic. Possibly Leao too (lol)
That’s one 80Mio guy who will hopefully show he’s worth and two apprentices. It wouldn’t hurt to keep Santi as backup. Although, I’d like to see him play regularly for his sake. Wherever that may be.
can you guys shout up!.. do you see the quality and size of squad does it make sense to buy more since we all want better player without some players leave?
Thinking like a business not a blind fan
I don’t want them to buy more but sell less useful players.
Positive side of things is that this means alot of minutes for Camarda this season.
If Gimenez plays as the no 1 in Porto that could be a chance for him to find his confidence again, and either Porto buy him, or he comes back as a new player. Win-Win
Fair point…
no loan. sell his price will be drop year to year.
Player not worth more then 12mil. Why we buy him for 35 its because we idiots
