It is clear that AC Milan will sign a striker this summer. There is no denying that, but the level of investment that the club makes is the interest for many.
For the past four windows in a row, Milan have sought a cure to their striker problem. Have they found one? Not yet. They have invested heavily, too. In fact, more than €100 million has been put into the search.

However, they still do not have a number nine to build around. So, that must be fixed this summer. It is one of Massimiliano Allegri’s – and the fans’ – big requests for the upcoming season.
A Brazilian focal point
Several names have been thrown into the mix, some speculative, others with fact. Whilst we are still in the run-up to the mercato’s opening, more will continue to emerge and Corriere dello Sport has added Igor Thiago to the list of options.
According to the report, as relayed by Calciomercato.com, he joins Serhou Guirassy, Goncalo Ramos and Alexander Sorloth on the summer shortlist.
Scoring 29 goals in 55 games for Brentford, including 21 Premier League goals this season, he has emerged as one of the deadliest options in Europe. However, the Bees would have a lot of security over his future, thanks to his contract until 2031.
An ambitious target, certainly. Perhaps a statement move, though.

Yeah, sure…… he’ll team up nicely with M’Bappe in our forward line.
Meanwhile Moncada is puting him alongside Mbappe and Vini on transfer shortlist… on career mode 🤣
Maybe you forgot that it was Moncada who discovered Mbappe and brought him to Monaco
24yo playing in Premier League, who scored 21goals this season and is valued at 50mil? They might be interested in him but he ain’t coming, thats for sure.
Breakout EPL star moving to Serie A lmfao
Ha
Haha
Hahaha
Ahahahahahahahhaha
Zero chance
Money talks. Thiago is expected to make $4.5m eu a year. If Milan offered him the same terms as Leao as a replacement ($6.4m eu in base salary, and up to $8m eu total after bonuses), he’d likely be interested.
I haven’t seen him play, and know nothing about him, fwiw.
I don’t think this signing can’t e done. Practically all top European clubs have their striker position sorted. He would be a perfect fit, assuming he’s not a one hit wonder and can replicate his form from this season
We can get him due to the growth decree, seems like people here have forgotten about that. Makes him cheaper than Italian born players and he pays less tax.
The growth decree has been scrapped, no?
