Report claims Milan are admirers of Boca Juniors starlet with €10m clause

The AC Milan management are looking for a new left-back and they have their eyes on Valentin Barco of Boca Juniors, a report claims.

According to SportMediaset, Barco is one of the targets Juventus are looking at but they also have to deal with competition from Brighton and Real Madrid who have clearly entered the race for the defender.

However, they state that rumours are coming from Argentina about a possible interest from Milan, who are looking for a deputy to Theo Hernandez after failing to land one during the recent summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old is an Argentina U20 international and he has attracted the Rossoneri scouts, who will be able to take advantage of the non-EU slot they have left.

An attempt to sign Barco could be made as early as January. However, Milan will have to either pay the €10m release clause in his contract or negotiate a fee.
