AC Milan do have an interest in signing Johan Vásquez from Genoa, after the recommendation came from Santiago Gimenez.
Speaking to Record MX, the Mexican striker actually admitted that he would bring his compatriot Johan Vasquez to the Rossoneri if he could, also formerly of Feyenoord.
“I would take Johan Vasquez. He is a very strong central defender, a professional, a tough central defender, and he has a winning mentality. He would be perfect for Milan,” he said.
“He already knows the championship, he has been here in Italy for a while, he has been consistent, he doesn’t get injured, I think it would be a good idea to take him.”
Milan after Vasquez
In today’s edition of the Genovese La Repubblica, the headline: ‘Milan wants Vasquez’ stands out in the top cut of the front page. The Mexican is in fact liked by the Rossoneri management, after what Gimenez said.
The central defender, however, does not want to leave and Genoa would prefer to sell Koni De Winter instead of giving up the 26-year-old.
Centre-back is one of the areas that Milan could look to reinforce too, given Massimiliano Allegri’s focus on being defensively solid and the potential for exits in that area.
Poor club. Shameful
Poor league, pathetic.
that could be some option. but I think Milan wants to keep Pavlovic and Gabbia and buy an one Italian young player plus an one competitive player. for me Jhon Lucumu or Joel Ordonez are the best options.
.
I think Leoni will move to Inter because of Chivu and very good offer of Inter. but we shouldn’t cry. Mattia Viti or Daniele Ghilardi could be even better option.
