Milan’s management always keeps an eye on the emerging talent market, as seen with the signing of David Odogu from VfL Wolfsburg during the summer window, as well as various additions for Milan Futuro during the January window.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has posted the following: “AC Milan are in advanced talks to sign André from Corinthians! 2006 born talented midfielder seen as top talent on a deal worth over €12/13m fee. Agreement at final stages with André, talks advanced with Corinthians as ESPN reports.”

Sometimes deals come completely out of the blue, and this is very much the case with André as there had been no previous links. The 19-year-old plays mainly as a box-to-box midfielder, but has also operated further forward and further back, as an attacking or as a defensive midfielder.

He has played 11 senior games for Corinthians with a couple of goals to his name despite his young age. Amid the reports earlier today claiming that the directors were looking for the final piece for the midfield, perhaps they view the Brazilian as someone capable of completing the department.
