AC Milan, this afternoon, have agreed a deal with Como for the sale of Malick Thiaw. However, a deal is not done yet.
There have been a few links between Milan and Como recently. Of course, the biggest has revolved around Alvaro Morata and a potential move to work with Cesc Fabregas. However, that is looking more difficult as time passes.

Before that, the clubs had discussed the possibility of Theo Hernandez moving in January. They had agreed on a deal, but it broke down in negotiations between the Frenchman and the buying club.
Nevertheless, a third player is now being sought by the Lariani.
Agreement for Thiaw
As Matteo Moretto reports, the club have submitted a bid for €25 million, and the deal has been accepted by the Rossoneri. Perhaps, a little shocking considering the previous demands were €30m. So, discussions with Thiaw will now take place, with his approval not yet received.
With that being said, Como are not looking to mess around and are set to hold talks with the defender in the next few hours. Money should not be an issue, given that the club are looking to invest heavily this summer and an established defender like Thiaw, who is still young, would be a sign of intent for the rest of Serie A.
It’s gonna be surprising if he accepts, considering he was once linked with Madrid. But then again Como seems to be rather ambitious and have a clear project for foreseeable future. Might be the one to watch in the future.
And he would get more play time.
If that gets us Leoni, then it has my seal of approval. 🙂

It’s all relative. You might consider these players “deadwood” for Milan, but for Como they represent gettable upgrades. Como is going to be dangerous next season. They are the next Bologna or Atalanta, but backed by Big Tobacco money. It’s going to be interesting to see how far and fast Como go, as at some point they’ll run into FFP rules if/when they qualify for Europe.
I was seeing Como as a joke for a while…
Now it seems like they are Newcastle of Serie A now. They are gonna be a rival to us as it seems.
The more rivals the better. Serie A needs more step up.
Como owner are the richest man in Indonesia country, no debt. Money it doesn’t matter. I think como its one of the healthy club in Seri A competition. None like Milan / inter that build from the debt.
With this deal, I guess Milan will be able to go all out for Leoni

When it comes to making mistakes, you should check the mistakes Hernández, Pavlovic, Gabbia, Maignan, Calabria, Emerson Royal made.
I didn’t say he is the best CB in the league, but that he is the best of a bunch of poor CB’s and defenders that Milan currently have.
Z these guys here are clueless, he is not the one to sell (allthough I must say I saw some genuine unhappiness with him last few months) Thiaw is the future Germany captain mark my words

This is disappointing. Thiaw is better than Gabbia, Pavlovic and Tomori. I would rather Milan sell any of those 3 players before selling Thiaw.

Como owner it’s the richest man in Indonesia country, it’s not like Redbird that still have debt with Elliot. So the money I think couldn’t be a problem. Btw, thiaw + morata go to como for 40m. Huge package. Nice deal from Tare.
Big mistake. Tomori and Pavlovic should be sold before him. Only CB able to build from the back. Tomori and Pavlovic are a liability with the ball and can only play in man to man aggressive defensive systems, which is not Allegri way of defending.

I get the feeling that Thiaw is not being sold for sporting reasons, but rather for attitude issues.
I believe he’s part of a gang that we want to discard by all means.
Maignan and Leao seemed to have been influenced by a certain Theo, and the management feels getting the ring leader out, Leao and Maignan may be more focused.
But it appears Thiaw may also be a bad influence on the younger players.
Florenzi’s words were very informative that there were gangs of players who deliberately sabotaged the season.
