Kerim Alajbegovic seemed to be on his way to Atalanta, but things have stalled and that could allow AC Milan back into the race.
According to Calciomercato.com, it seemed like a done deal, but it’s not. At least, not yet. Alajbegovic was one step away from joining Atalanta, but a move to Bergamo is no longer a given. The 18-year-old’s future is still up in the air.

Milan alerted by stall
Negotiations between Atalanta director Cristiano Giuntoli and Bayer Leverkusen have stalled significantly due to the player’s valuation, which has been set at around €30m plus bonuses. This could reopen the race to sign the teenager, who shone at the World Cup with Bosnia.
According to Radio Bruno, Fiorentina had shown strong interest in the player in recent weeks and are now closely monitoring the situation once again. The asking price seems to be no problem for La Viola, as their spending so far this summer shows.
Milan are also keeping an eye on the winger too. After the arrivals of Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila , the idea of challenging Atalanta for Alajbegovic is certainly there. The main target remains Konstantinos Karetsas, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic likes the Bosnian.
Should the Rossoneri move to try and sign the now-former RB Salzburg star, the historical size and prestige of the club can always make the difference, especially when it comes to the player’s desire.
Alajbegovic has also said yes to Atalanta, but Bayer Leverkusen – who bought him back from Salzburg in recent weeks – want €30m as mentioned. Keep an eye out on the Premier League too, with several clubs having inquired.

Alajbegovic is what we need
Agree
I don’t know what is wrong with this Milan management,
Rodrigo
Endrick
Alajbegovic
Uzun
Ketrast
Just sale leao and pulisic if possible
And sign the names on the above to make a serious change in this team
Add
zaniolo
Dodo
Chiesa
Let them not forget that we need players from how league
Ricci plus cash for elder son
Sale and loan the rest
he’s also ambidextrous like Cambiasso
those 2 would be steals if we consider that Cambiasso also can use both feet and can operate on both flanks.
Pulis, Alexis, Cambiasso, Alajbegovic would rotate and confuse their markers making Goncalos job that much simpler
Juve need money so both would be close to 65-70M, something I hope we van get with Leao’s sale
Interesting point.
Where is Milanese, guys? 😀
To be honest I didn’t undestand why milan is more interested in Karetsas than Alajbegovic.
Both are probably talented players, but Alajbegovic has more international experience, he played in WC and scored a nice goal. His confidence is high.
Karetsats could cost 40M (really overpriced) according to report, on the other hand Alajbegovic costs 10M less..it is actually no brainer to go for Alajbegovic..
Karetsats is left-footed, and that is crucial to Amorim’s system. Milan in general, lack left-footed players…
Karetsas comes first. Alajbegovic should be considered ONLY after Karetsas is signed. If Alajbegovic would not come, I wouldn’t care much, however if Karetsas will go to Borussia, that would be devastating.
Same here… I like and believe in alajnegovic than karetsas.
