This summer, AC Milan could look to make a few signings from Sassuolo. Due to their model, an interesting group of players could be available.
It is nothing new for teams to sign from the league directly. In fact, in Serie A, it is probably more common than elsewhere. Nevertheless, it also means you can sign players who are already proven in the division, and this could be the case for Milan.
Whilst Sassuolo have only just been promoted to Serie A, there are certain players who have left an impression, and the Rossoneri could be on high alert.
Sassuolo players for sale
As Calciomercato.com relays this morning, CEO Giovanni Carnevali spoke to GR Parlamento on Rai, and admitted that the club would make a few sales this summer, linking them to the departure of key player Davide Frattesi’s move to Inter.
His words and the players who could be available have been relayed below.
“We also want to be a sustainable club: Kone, Muharemovic, Laurienté… We have a lot of young players, but we can’t sell them all because the goal is to rebuild a team to do well and improve next season.
“It’s natural that we’ll sell some players; our policy is to sign players at a low price and then try to sell them to big clubs and maintain a healthy balance sheet.”
For Kone, the Neroverdi will ask for at least €30 million, whilst Muharemovic could be available for around €25m. Armand Lauriente, whom the Rossoneri have also been keeping tabs on, would cost upwards of €35m.

Laurent would be a great CL addition. Has speed and can finish. Not sure he’s worth €35 million, but the club has spent as much on other forwards with poor results. I don’t believe Laurent would be in that category.
We’re not going to sign Lauriente because 1. We don’t use wingers, so why bring in another one; 2. Even if we changed to 4-3-3, we have Leao and Pulisic as starters, with Nkunku in reserve. We’d need another winger, but because the other three are all over 26, it would make sense for the new winger to be more of a project in the age 18-22 range. Lauriente is 27; 3. At 27 and turning 28 in December, the club is highly unlikely to spend 35M after spending just as much on Nkunku at about the same age. It’s too risky for them.
we don’t need any of the 3…
we need Estupinan, RLC, Fulkrug upgrades; and a CB (basically Odogu upgrade)
