Report: Developments possible between Milan and Atalanta involving midfield duo

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Atalanta could discuss a possible exchange deal this summer involving two creative midfielders, according to one journalist.

Rudy Galetti is claiming on Twitter that Atalanta are back on the trail of Tommaso Pobega who is currently out on loan at Torino until the end of the season, though they do not have any option to make it a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old has been closely followed by the Lee Congerton when he wasHead of Senior Recruitment for Leicester City, and he now has the same role for the Bergamasco side.

Milan meanwhile are big admirers of Atalanta’s 28-year-old playmaker Rusaln Malinovsky who has a contract expiring in 2023, so we must wait and see what developments arrive in terms of a potential double operation involving an exchange deal or an operation like the Andrea Silve-Ante Rebic one, where they went through as separate but simultaneous sales.

  1. Stupid deal if happen . Ruslan good but already 28 and have only 1 years contract left while pobega still young and have 3 years contract left. Better fix RW first

  2. Ruslan does fix our CAM issues though. Also a possible starter. Pobega will be just a backup? might become starter in a couple years?

  3. Nah ,malinovskiy is in last year of contract so his price should be triple down,if they gift gosens to inter for 15 mil then they should give us ruslan for 10, get rid of bakayoko and kessie and bring sanchez, adli and pobega,we would be much better with them
