Ruben Amorim’s system heavily relies on the attacking midfielders, but it’s clear that AC Milan have a bit of a problem in this area.
There have been some blossoms in the Amorim system so far, but it is clear that Milan still need revision. After all, his wingers change constantly and questions are still being asked about the majority of his No. 10 options.

From those with minutes to those without any, it’s not exactly the strongest area of the squad…
Amorim’s 10-shaped issue
Calciomercato.com’s assessment is brutal; put simply, the Rossoneri lack quality in their No.10s. So far, Alphadjo Cisse is their best option, but the others are ultimately makeshift. He isn’t struggling with the leap; in fact, he’s a leader of the squad.
He understands Amorim and is best suited to play in the attacking midfield role.
Alexis Saelemaekers, Adrien Rabiot and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are square pegs in round holes. They work, but they’re far from ideal options. Of course, Saelemaekers and Rabiot have made an impact, too, but they’re better suited to their natural roles.
Then there are the natural fits, Christian Pulisic and Omari Hutchinson. The former is still recovering from the injury, but he’s ‘the only player in the squad capable of truly making a difference’.
Hutchinson is an ‘Amorini-esque’ player, who can start as early as next week, it’s just a case of finding the right tempo. After all, the attacking midfield roles are not cemented and that right No. 10 spot could be his for the taking.

I am amazed that Hutchinson is viewed as a walk on starter or piece to improve the offense I agree with Kush in that he has potential but still needs to develop. Last year he had 31 appearances and score 1 goal.
And 7 assists. Do your research.
How many minutes? How many assists? The numbers you’re looking at tell me you don’t understand.
Why don’t you look at the stats before talking (writing) before thinking you understand? Zero assists last year. Best season was with Ipswich in the Championship- 14 goals. If he’s not getting minutes that says something, doesn’t it.
Oh, he average about 54 mins a game in the EPL last year-1694 mins. ONE goal, no assists. So let’s be real.
I didn’t need to, what you checked says everything. Goals and assists per 90 minutes are the real data. Young players don’t get full 90 minutes in teams that have superior options. It is normal. I did now, he had 7 assists in the Premier League last season. Try checking again.
I also never said he is a good player just that what you’re looking at is irrelevant and can show a completely wrong picture. As it did.
Wikipedia said 0 assists. Other source said 5. That said, an average of 50+ minutes a game, which in all likelihood is more in some games and less in others, is significant playing time. I’ve seen nothing that says that says right now he is a player ACM can depend on. These numbers are far from irrelevant.
31 appearances 1 goal
1600 minutes 1 goal 7 assists.
What says more?
Not including actual playtime and assists is like deciding to show only goals scored with the left foot.
Dude, you don’t need to see the goal/minute data to know that one goal in 31 appearances isn’t very good.
Don’t rest on this Rubin
Let give this guy chance first and see he can do with ball of he delivers that is good, just let amorim give chance first and see,I believe that he we deliver for us
Let amorim give him chance first, because I believe him that he we deliver for us,
As it is now, this is certainly not a player who walks into a team as a starter that is even thinking about winning a scudetto or making top 4. This is a project. I’m not saying what kind of player he will be, but who he has been the last two years. Of course he needs a chance, but we need to have realistic expectations. This site, rightfully so tends to be overly positive about purchases- Felix, Walker, etc. Right now, I think this team will be pressed for a top 4 finish. I think Inter, Napoli (in spite of Conte), Roma and Como are my favorites for top 4. Lastly, 1694 mins is actual playing time. If he has an average of 50 mins a game, it certainly means he got a good run out in many games and probably came on as a late sub in others. Multrak your point that this player did not get a good run doesn’t make sense.
Conte or Allegri?
think this a bot, im sure everyone here knows allegri manages napoli.
Sorry, Allegri. Thanks!!!
You are welcome.
Rubin is good for nothing as you all saw at Utd
