There is a real chance that AC Milan’s most recent and potentially final offer for Ardon Jashari is rejected by Club Brugge.
It was reported on Tuesday that the latest offer is €32.5m fixed part plus €5.5m in bonuses, a total that could make Brugge falter because it would be a club-record sale for them, as well as a Belgian league record for the most expensive departure.

Jashari: Still no agreement
Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto spoke during a live video on YouTube (via MilanNews), and they reported that Wednesday was a quiet day on the Ardon Jashari front for Milan.
At the moment, they are stuck on the latest Rossoneri offer of €32m plus bonuses, with an overall cost that would be close to €38m total. On the player side, the will of the Swiss midfielder is now very clear: he wants Milan and Milan only.
Moretto added that the center of the negotiations will be the agreement on the fixed base. The Belgians intend to earn at least €35m guaranteed, with the hope of arriving (with the bonuses) at a total of €40m.
For its part, Milan do not intend to go that high and believes it has already made several efforts, even more than had been expected. The Rossoneri will try to leverage the fact that the player is pushing hard to join.
There is still a gap of a few million on the fixed base and in the coming days new contacts are expected to understand what Milan’s move will be.

The €55m is the base amount. You cannot quote the base amount and leave out the bonuses which are actively part of the contract.
Milan is sending a package deal worth €38m to Brugge, do we now quote only the €32.5m base and leave out the bonuses?

But again they’ve done this before and they succeeded so might as well do it with what appears to be an even “better player?” than CDK.

In the last 9 years, Only Kessie, Tomori and Leao who made an impact for 30M+ transfer fee, the others are flop (Bonucci, Paqueta, Piatek, Caldara, Cdk, Andre Silva) or at least unproven (Gimenez). Now we bet on 40M transfer for an unproven player, just hoping with that high price, we get a “Leao” and not “Paqueta”
The transfer fee of a player is inconsequential with the performance and ability of the player.
One of our biggest flops in the last 9 years came in for free without a transfer fee.
For instance, Origi with two goals in 36 appearances as a CF can easily pass for our greatest flop.
Moreover, I don’t consider Paqueta and Piatek flops.
Bonucci spent only one season with us, in a seriously struggling period, Milan was a flop, but to say Bonucci personally flopped would be harsh on him. He was our best defender by a mile and won the most tackles and interceptions in the entire team (go read Juventus official statement welcoming him back).
CDK’s status had absolutely nothing to do with the transfer fee.
Would he have performed well if we signed him for €10m? Hell no, regardless of the transfer fee, he was never a good fit for the team, that’s what mainly determines the performance output.
