So, the club may opt to return to Devin Özek, he seemed to be a late candidate in the race, emerging over the past week. However, with Krösche looking likely, he fell into the background. Now, Calciomercato.com suggests that he may come back.
He rose through the ranks of Bayer Leverkusen, but sought a more significant role and moved to Fenerbahce in 2025. Unfortunately for him, the move wasn’t fruitful, with them finishing second and the club opting to go in a different direction.
Considering there would be no negotiations – which is where the deal for Krösche has come undone, it seems – a deal could be easier and with less risk. We’ll have to see what happens.

Building anything from foundation up would be too logical for Cardinale. Makes more sense to throw some random pieces in without a blueprint. Start with the roof, then throw in some windows, then a foundation and maybe some walls? Good enough.
