CM.it: Milan and Barcelona watching development of ‘Norwegian Neymar’ closely

AC Milan’s scouts are always on the hunt for talent that would add new blood to the youth project, and they have their eyes on yet another Club Brugge player.

Calciomercato.it report that Milan are keeping a very close eye on Antonio Nusa, who impressed during the 4-0 rout of Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday night, scoring the fourth goal to complete what many regard to be a shock result.

He is just 17 years and 5 months old, meaning he is the second-youngest player to score goal in the history of the Champions League after Ansu Fati for Barcelona against Inter. If his valuation was €3-4m prior to that goal, it has at least doubled now.

The Brugge system is known now for producing talent that comes at a price – something the Charles De Ketelaere operation showed – but Milan might be able to call upon the relations they established after signing the Belgian.

A number of clubs are already taking an interest in a talent that some are dubbing the ‘Norwegian Neymar’ because of his sprint speed, dribbling, technique and the fact he plays on the left wing.

The Rossoneri are following Nusa’s development with great attention and he is also in the orbit of Barcelona, though with each passing week a larger and larger investment is needed to snatch him.
