Sources in Belgium are now picking up on the story that AC Milan are interested in signing Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk.
It now seems apparent that the next position Milan are seeking to address is an attacking midfielder to operate behind the striker. Among the various names linked have been Can Uzun and Kerim Alajbegovic, but Karetsas has been gaining momentum as an idea.

La Gazzetta dello Sport spoke this morning about the Greek teenager being the chosen one for the playmaker role, but that a figure of around €40m could be needed, which in turn means Rafael Leao must depart first.
Confirmation from Belgium
HLN in Belgium confirm that Milan have entered the race to sign Karetsas from Racing Genk. For the time being, Borussia Dortmund remain the most concrete suitor for the 18-year-old, but Milan are following the situation closely.
The Rossoneri finished fifth in Serie A last season and will play in the Europa League next season, whereas Dortmund have Champions League football. The Rossoneri have not yet made an official offer, while Dortmund have made several (unsuccessful) bids.
Although the latest proposal from the German club surpasses Genk’s club record set by Tolu Arokodare (€26m euros to Wolverhampton), they are aiming for more. According to sources, they are hoping for €35m.
