AC Milan remain an option for Dusan Vlahovic if he does not renew with Juventus, who in turn are targeting Robert Lewandowski.
One of the certainties regarding Milan’s summer transfer window is that a new centre-forward is needed, and virtually every name under the sun has been linked. Vlahovic has been among the most insistent, along with Lewandowski, Moise Kean and more recently Alexander Sorloth.

Milan, Juventus, Lewandowski and Vlahovic
In an update on Sky, Gianluca Di Marzio gave an update on the future of Vlahovic. If the Serbian striker doesn’t renew his contract with Juventus, both Milan and Bayern Munich could try to acquire him on a free transfer, given his deal expires in just over two months.
Speaking of which, Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski has a contract that also expires at the end of June. He has been linked with Milan but the Pole could be more of an option for the Bianconeri than the Rossoneri, as they want to strengthen their attack with an experienced profile.
One thing to bear in mind is that at Bayern Vlahovic would be a back-up to Harry Kane and a replacement for Nicolas Jackson, Di Marzio adds. At Milan, however, the former Fiorentina star would be a guaranteed starter, which could help their case.
This season, Vlahovic has been plagued by injuries, particularly a high-grade tear to his left adductor longus muscle and a low-grade tear to his left calf soleus muscle. The result has been a campaign with 18 games and eight goals, which isn’t enough for someone earning €12m net.
Di Marzio’s words in full
Speaking on Sky, he said: “Vlahovic is another one of those players whose contracts are expiring, like Goretzka, Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva… This year, there are many really strong players whose contracts are expiring, who can be acquired without negotiating with the clubs.
“Vlahovic is a concern. If he doesn’t renew with Juve, we know the respect Allegri has always had for him. Milan also tried to sign him last summer, so we’ll have to figure out where Valhovic ends up. Will he stay at Juve or if he can return to Milan.
“Bayern Munich are also considering him as an alternative to Kane, as an attacking player they can acquire, given that Jackson is on loan and has a very high buy-out figure. There’s also the issue of Lewandowski, who is negotiating a renewal with Barcelona.
“But if he doesn’t renew there, he’s another player Milan and Juve can decide to take a chance on. Perhaps more so Juve, Milan don’t want to take on all those players with higher ages.”

Vlahovic might be the best long term solution of the two but on the other hand having Lewandowski as a mentor for Camarda could also be a very smart move.
Either way I would welcome either of the two.
I have zero faith in the Serb. Not only can he not play with his back to goal but he can’t stay healthy long enough to attempt to do it.
Completely disagree on both. Sure he has been injured recently for 4 months but that is the longest span of time in his career and when injured it has mostly been short term ones. That is pretty much expected to happen considering the position he plays in.
He has a lot of short term frequent injuries especially in the groin area. We already have one player who is dealing with groin issues. Interestingly Vlahovic also had pubalgia and many groin injuries after that.
Good striker when healthy but he is way too often injured.
Mainly its short term injuries for a few matches and if we look at his career he has missed like roughly 6 matches pr. year in average where two of his seasons 25/26 and the 21/22 drags that average up.
I’ll say if he is fully back after this season I would have no issue in acquiring him but obviously that depends on his physical state as well but I’m not especially worried there.
He had Pubalgia twice, which forced him to miss a month or 2. Pubalgia is a chronic injury. His physical state is the most worrisome thing about the whole operation, especially for the salary he is asking.
To be fair I’m more worried about eventual salary demands and competition from other clubs because even if he miss a combined month or two we should be able to handle it if we have Gimenez in form or a replacement as second choice with Camarda as 3rd choice. That’s at least my view of things but lets see if we can even manage to get him to begin with but some of the other media suggestions like Muani or Jackson certainly wouldn’t make me the slightest excited.
Id prefer Lewandowski but as long as we don’t wind up with Nicholas Jackson I’m good…
I lean towards him the most as well. two year contract as I think it could benefit Camarda a lot then keep Gimenez as a second option for 1 year and if he doesn’t perform there either send him packing. It should offer all 3 players ample room to perform if we keep the 3-5-2 formation and competes in 3 competitions.
Jackson and Muani would have me worried to be frank so we can at least do a lot worse than Vlahovic.
I’ll take Castro from Bologna and any other one except the Retegui and N. Jackson
