AS: Milan and Bayern Munich contact Chelsea over signing over Brazilian talent

AC Milan are one of the clubs that have contacted Chelsea over the potential signing of Chelsea for Andrey Santos, a journalist has claimed.

Santos signed for Chelsea in January 2023 from Vasco Da Gama but at that time didn’t qualify for a work permit to play in England, so he went back to the Brazilian side on loan. After the bureaucratic issues were resolved, he headed out to Strasbourg, who are part of Chelsea’s ownership group.

According to Eduardo Burgos of Diario AS, ‘several clubs’ have contacted Chelsea for Santos, with Bayern Munich keeping a close eye on him ahead of the summer window.

He is ‘very much in demand’ and Milan are ‘also keeping an eye on him’, along with other Premier League clubs. It is almost out of the question that he will return to London in January from his loan spell, though.

Instead, he will remain in France and then his future will be assessed again ahead of the 2025-26 season. Given the amount of business Milan and Chelsea have done in recent years, it cannot be ruled out that the phone lines are active again.

Milan were linked with signing him in the 2023 summer transfer window along with city rivals Inter, and it is possible that the London club would look to test him at a higher level given he has seven goals in 18 games this season.

  1. What is worries the Chelsea board for not allowed Santos to play in the teams why are they wanted to selling him,it better to record him from loans to assist our woven basket defence areas.

    1. Exactly,
what’s chelsea doing with Levi Colwill, Reece James & Enzo Fernandez.Whenever they play together chelsea concede stupid Goals , No Long passes, fans are not impressed

  2. Why should we bring in Andrey Santos (Chelsea)? His performance is just average. There are still many other good players who have contracts that will expire in 2025 and 2026 such as:
    Simon Adingra(LW & RW)=Brighton
    Edon Zhegrova(RW)=Lille
    Jhon Arias(RW & AM)=Fluminense
    Marco Asensio(RW,AM)=PSG
    Yunus Akgun(LW,AM & RW)=Galatasaray
    Sverre Nypan=Rosenberg
Paul Wanner=Bayern but loaned to Heidenhem

  3. Sorry again, but this time is the real list of players who play in AM, CM & DM positions:
    Paul Wanner(AM)

  4. Yeah yeah we’re also “keeping an eye” on Vini Jnr and Erling Haaland.

We’ve all played football manager, click [add to shortlist]

  5. Santos is better than all those boys on your list. Anguissa?? Stop it. Santos has been Brazil captain at every age group up until u20s. He was best player at the last u20s World Cup and has been called up to the Brazil national team now. He’s combatitive but also a great passer and to top it all he scores goals from deep MF. Maybe watch the guy play first. Or just keep thinking he’s a winger. It’s up to you.

  6. Why are we following all those players from Chelsea’s bench. We got lucky with Pulisic. The others isn’t good enough.
