Reports: Milan ‘begin negotiations’ with Manchester United for Garnacho – the details

With AC Milan planning a refresh, the club are looking to take advantage of a broken relationship in the Premier League.

In recent years, Milan have had a lot of success when shopping in the Premier League. Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek Cheek and Fikayo Tomori have provided big moments for the club, though Loftus-Cheek’s have certainly been less frequent, due to injuries.

Despite this, the club have shown an openness to involving themselves in the English market. Especially, when opportunities arise, which is said to be a big aim for the Rossoneri. Now, it seems the latest may have arisen.

According to Argentinian outlet Olé (via Milan News), the club have begun negotiations with Manchester United, who are willing to sell Alejandro Garnacho this summer, due to a breakdown in relations with coach Ruben Amorim.

There is plenty of interest in the winger, mainly from Italy, where Juventus and Napoli are also trying to secure the youngster. However, with Rafael Leao potentially leaving this summer, the South American could be an ideal replacement.

It is unknown how much the Red Devils will seek this summer, but Transfermarkt has him valued at €45 million. A figure which you would imagine the Diavolo could easily afford this summer with a Leao-boosted kitty.

  1. In this case I wouldn’t mind – but only if Leao really wants to leave. If Tare believe in Leao I’d obv like him to stay. Garnacho is crazy tho.

  2. I have been called a “Leaonista” by defending being sold in other platforms. But if Leao can just get over this or last season, where most of team was out of it. Garnacho don’t have the rawness that Leao has, ok then.. If Leao really wants to leave, then i accept it and the only top wingers out there that the club can stretch out for is Garnacho

  3. If we get Garnacho for 40-45M and then sell Leao for 80-90M, it’s worth… difference used for Dodo and Comuzzo, plus Adli -> 10M.

Theo+cash used for Jimenez guarantees and either of Guler/Brahim/Paz…

    Gimenez
    Garnacho-Tiji-Pulisic
    Ricci-Fofana
    Pavlovic-Gabbia-Comuzzo-Dodo
    Maignan

  4. please god let this be a lie conjured to make people look elsewhere and not on the targets Milan really want. I have watches this man play countless of times and he isn’t good enough for Milan, I promise you he will frustrate and ruin many games because he isnt strong, quick or a good dribbler. He is not good enough for AC Milan.

  5. Leao and Theo not playing the last match was telling. If Leao is to be sold we need to demand an upgrade for at least two positions. Use the proceeds from his sale to buy Mason Greenwood from Marseille to replace him and the rest of the proceeds on Rayan Cheriki from Lyon to upgrade the AM position. Use the funding from the sales of others to get Ricci for defensive midfielder. If Leao is sold we need assurance on someone that can contribute 20+ goals in all competitions and we are without an AM. Chriki had 20+ assists. Theo’s value at an all-time low. Give him a 2 year extension and if no improvement in attitude then sell him next year.

  6. Horrible ChatGPT article.
Also, United have repeatedly come up with the figure of €70M.
Either you are lying, or you are not familiar with the subject.
    A fiasco.

  7. Jajaja, now we see Granacho as Leao replacement, 40-50m who cares. Important is to keep Rejnders. Just keep digging your own grave!

  8. Why do we need Garnacho? And hey I thought we were italianizing the team hahahaha we all knew it was a lie!

  9. What complete and utter drivel. WTF would we sign a Man United reject for €45 million? That is not how this management operate. Garnacho is a big talent, but he is not the profile of player Milan go for nor in the budget range.

    1. Why not? pretty much in the same situation as Pulisic was at chelsea. Price is high but United want to sell, and will drop the price if there are not suitors, like what happened to Pulisic.
