AC Milan have apparently opened talks over a move for Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio, despite not having a management in place.

Nevertheless, transfer rumours are coming from abroad involving the Rossoneri. In particular, there’s talk of a concrete interest in Goncalo Inacio, a defender who currently plays for Sporting CP.

According to what is being reported by Record – a source based in the player’s homeland – Milan have made initial contact with Goncalo Inacio, who has been linked with Barcelona and other top clubs in recent months.
The left-footed central defender has a contract until 2030 and has played 46 games in all competitions in the season that has just ended, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
He will be playing for Portugal at the World Cup in the coming weeks which could certainly see his value rise, which Transfermarkt have at €40m currently.
Given there is talk of big sales like that of Strahinja Pavlovic, plus uncertainty about the fate of Fikayo Tomori, it is possible that Inacio could be seen as a target to reinforce the department.

Pls show some respect. Just because there are no CEO, Coach , Technical Director and Scouting Director, does not mean the club is stagnated and cannot do anything. We are talking of Milan, a big club with so many employees. The sweeping changes were necessary and it will take a little more time to employ and engage the right replacements. Mean while, the club has the capacity to negotiate potential deals as opportunities arise. Please have some patience. Forza Milan
