AC Milan are prioritising the renewal of Ismael Bennacer as there are plenty of Premier League clubs that want to make a move for the midfielder, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are very wary of losing Bennacer in the summer and that is why they are working extra hard to agree on a deal with him and his new agent.
The Algerian recently switched agents to join up with Enzo Raiola, the cousin of the late Mino Raiola. It is a move that has concerned Milan as the player could have made this change to further alert Premier League sides.
The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool have all shown interest in Bennacer within the past year.
Whilst the Rafael Leao renewal is important, the Bennacer one may be a more pressing issue right now for Milan and the player’s will is going to be decisive.
If he leaves I honestly can’t blame him… He is balling his ass off but manegment is playing Scrooge McDuck with his salary demands while taking Dest who has 6m salary and having freaking Bakayoko on 4m salary… This is becoming absurd to be honest..
Dest salary is 3.5 million not 6 and that was on Barca who gave that many, not Milan. If Florenzi isn’t got injured, Dest wouldn’t come.
And you need to remember Bakayoko is just a two years loan from Chelsea. Milan tried to offload Bakayoko multiple times at the start of this season but the player doesn’t want to leave despite multiple clubs wants him.

He and everyone else. The salary is something BOTH parties have agreed on. Bennacer has still a lot to improve and I doubt he would be a star in EPL. 4M€/y should be enough for him and if he disagrees then Milan will replace him with someone else. He’s not irreplaceable (either),
Dest may have 6m salary but Milan isn’t paying such figures to him. And I believe Chelsea is paying 50% of Baka’s salary too.

Yeah replace him with what Pobega …if we lose Benacer and don’t get lucky with another transfer we can just say goodbye to top 4. For both of you for you as an employe you don’t give a flying fuck who pays for the salary you would still be pissed if one of your coworkers get paid more while performing clearly worst than you. And yes he might not be a starter but he still can get a 6-8m contract in PL even Leandro Paredes gets 8m a year that is the reality of the market. Not like we are not losing starters for free every year now….
