Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report how Stefano Pioli knows he can rely on Rafael Leao on the left wing as a goal threat, but on the other flank Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias have alternating both in terms of who starts and in terms of level of performances.
For this reason, the management are evaluating the possibility of intervening and signing a player of quality for the right wing which has led them to Berardi, a player with 12 goals and 10 assists in Serie A so far this season alone.
It is not the first time that his name has been linked to Milan, and they should be able to use two things in their favour: Champions League football which would please the player, and the budget to be able to pay the €30-35m asking price.
In recent years Berardi has often been close to leaving the Neroverdi, but this summer seems to be the time when he will finally take a leap to competing for trophies, and Milan are in the front row.
