Journalist claims Milan have added Spurs winger to target list along with Club Brugge star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan now have two names on their shortlist of potential candidates to reinforce the attack this summer, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are expected to make moves in each department during the summer transfer window with names such as Sven Botman heavily linked for the centre-back role and Renato Sanches for the midfield, but there is still some intrigue as to forwards who might arrive.

According to Rudy Galetti, Spurs winger Steven Bergwijn was proposed to Milan during the meeting with the Muy Manero agency, and the Rossoneri consider the Dutch winger an ‘interesting’ profile.

Galetti adds that they have put the former PSV man’s name on their list of possible options to explore in the summer, but he is also joined there by Noa Lang of Club Brugge, who is a couple of years younger and has been in fantastic form for the Belgian side so far in the current campaign.

    1. I would deffently prefer lang but the price will also highly likely be twice the price bergwiijn might cost. Änyways begwiijn propably is just 1 name on a list of numerous players that the club keeps an eye on so doesnt see this as much more than a slim possibility unless we get a real bargain both in transfer fee and salary.
In the end if we are to buy an expenssive belgian i would prefer us to look into de ketelaere but if we actually end up buying both botman and sanches then it seems higly unlikely that we will throw 30-40 mil on top of a double deal in the vicinity of atleast 60 mil.

  1. I think they’re actually looking for versatile CAM, with these two, not a RW. In reality, neither is a proper right winger – both play better and way more often in the left and in the middle (as CAM or second striker/false 9 . Bergwijn’s not playing much because the Spurs don’t use a CAM and have Son at the LW position. Also, if they thought he could be a good alternative at RW, then why buy Kulusevski? With Lang, I always check Club Brugge line-ups, and he always starts either in a duo up front with De Katelaere or at the left. And if you search for the highlights of their games you’ll see he’s very rarely on the right side.
With that said, I’m more than fine with upgrading our CAM position, especially with dynamic players who can play multiple positions/functions – I’d love for us to bring Lang! But… I would still look for a real RW.
