AC Milan face a decision regarding the future of Francesco Camarda, who will soon return to base after his loan at Lecce.
Camarda recently made his debut for the senior Italian national team against Luxembourg and he also played against Greece. Today’s edition of Il Giorno (via MilanVibes) focuses on the rumours that surround his future.

The Milanese newspaper writes that Camarda became the sixth-youngest debutant for the senior national team behind record-holder Renzo De Vecchi (16 years and 3 months), Simone Pafundi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Luigi Barbesino, and Samuele Inacio.
Camarda has broken other records too: in 2023, he became the youngest debutant in Serie A history, in 2024 the youngest Italian to debut in the Champions League, and in 2025 the youngest scorer for the Italy U21 national team.
Calls arrive for Camarda
This season with Lecce he scored just one goal in 21 appearances (seven as a starter). Eusebio Di Francesco placed his trust in him especially in the first part of the season, then in January a bruised shoulder trauma forced the player to undergo surgery and sit out for almost four months (109 days).
Last summer he was loaned to Lecce with an option to buy (€3m) and a buy-back (€4m) in favour of the Rossoneri. He will return to Milan, but several teams have already made inquiries. Above all, they name Sassuolo, Parma, Cagliari, Monza and Frosinone.
In short, there will be a battle to secure the services of one of Italy’s brightest young talents. However, reports have also suggested that Ralf Rangnick’s arrival as the technical director could see Camarda stay and feature more at Milan.
For me it is a mistake. If Milan keeps selling young players or send them for loan it is wrong. On loan with smaller teams a young player cannot reach a high level, intense and pressure as if he is playing with a big club. I prefer younger players instead of almost retired players. I preferred seeing Camarda in last 2 seasons instead of others (such as Origi, I mentioned only his name because he is retired now)
Its stupid if Milan sell future assets, give him more playing minutes, n see his progress.

For the love of God just KEEP HIM. Weve seen with Bart that our talented youth players can become valuable members of the squad when given a real chance. The likes of camarda and zeroli can do the same. Stop selling every single promising talent we have to a low level club to make a quick buck for the accounts. Its no wonder Italian football is the laughing stock of Europe
Liberal also doing good after we sold him and he was given a chance in his new club. Juve wants to buy him now.
And they key thing here is…Liberali got a year in Serie B. Camarda went from Serie C, where he didn’t do much, to Serie A where he didn’t do much. He needs a season at Serie B level, to see if he can score goals there. Look at Pio Esposito. Camarda needs the same process. Too much is being asked of him right now. Let him show he can score 10-15 goals in Serie B before expecting him to perform under the bright lights of Serie A.

Lecce was a mistake last year. He should have gone to one of the leading Serie B teams. Allowing him space to develop in team competing for a title. Instead of being a rotation forward in a relegation battle.
Vero Rossonero, I do not agree when you saying ‘He needs a season at Serie B level, to see if he can score goals there’. In Italy that is a bad mentality. If he can score in Serie B it doesn’t mean he can score in Serie A. Prominent players you have to integrated them slowly in the first team by playing few minutes here and there. It is like you are saying if a player is good in Serie A will do good in Premier league. Premier league is a higher level then Seire A. The same as Serie A is higher level then Serie B. One example is Phil Foden at 17 he was integrated in the Senior Man City team. And we are talking about a team full of stars.
The question is would he play much at ACM?
