Bologna are struggling to make progress with the renewals of Riccardo Orsolini and Nicolas Dominguez and AC Milan are monitoring the situation, a report claims.
According to Il Resto del Carlino, Bologna are in talks over extending the contracts of both players with their current deals set to expire in 2024, and for both the winger and the midfielder they are willing to offer €1.5-1.6m net per season. Dominguez currently earns €750k, Orsolini about €1.3m.
Milan, Inter, Roma and Lazio are all watching their situation, as well as clubs abroad, but there have been no offers yet ahead of the summer transfer window as they wait to see how things develop.
The problem that causes the stalemate to persist is currently represented by the release clause that both Sabbag (Dominguez’s agent) and Minieri (Orsolini’s agent) would like to include in their client’s contracts to ensure that they can eventually accept the interest of a big club if they knock on the door.
Bologna want any clause to be set at €20-25m while the agents both want €10m considering the contract expiry, but the Rossblu do not consider that fair when bearing in mind that Svanberg left last summer with a year to go on his deal for €15m.
Get Orsolini before the f’ng Nerazzuri does.
