CM: Milan only willing to sign a centre-back on loan – Tanganga waits amid PSG’s wall

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Mian will allocate their remaining budget transfer budget to the signing of a midfielder which has conditioned the search for a centre-back, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that Milan are pushing for a new central defender on loan with an option to buy at most (no obligation to buy or permanent deal therefore) and they are hoping that PSG will open up to this formula for Abdou Diallo in the second half of August.

At the moment their sporting director Luis Campos is only considering offers for a permanent sale, which is why Japhet Tanganga of Spurs is being evaluated as an option too.

The Englishman expects signals from the Rossoneri management after the contacts cooled in the last few days. Roma also enquired but Mourinho considers him plan B to Eric Bailly of Manchester United.

Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini remain in a waiting phase, and they are ready to evaluate new opportunities on the market.

  1. I dont know why they priority midfield while defense in danger. Better buy ndicka and loan midfield since we are strong on there

    1. Defense : Tomori, Kalulu, Kjaer Gabbia.
Central Midfield: Tonali, Bennacer, Krunic, Pobega.
Defense lost Romagnoli, who was the 3rd, at times 4th option.
Midfield lost Kessie, who is in the top 3 DM’s in football.
Case can be made that there is more confidence in the 2 back ups in defense Kjaer & Gabbia than in the 2 back ups in midfield Krunic & Pobega.
So no we are not strong in midfield, and defense shouldn’t be prioritized. Reinforcements in both positions are needed, more so in midfield because of how demanding and taxing that position is

      1. You are more confident of Gabbia than Pobega/Krunic?

Defense have only Kjaer as reliable backup.

Midfield have Krunic and Pobega as reliable backups.
