The chances of AC Milan signing Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi are extremely low given the price and their need to sell, a report claims.
As has been reported by Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset (via Milan News), Milan are highly unlikely to be lining up with Frattesi in their midfield when the new campaign gets underway next week.
There are two primary reasons for this. One is that Milan are not looking to spend any more than €15 million on their new midfielder. Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has been standing firm by his valuation of €35 million.
That then feeds into the second problem which is that the Neroverdi have got no incentive to lower their price. They have sold Gianluca Scamacca to West Ham United for a big fee and they look set to sell Giacomo Raspadori too.
Therefore they do not need to settle for a lower bid for Frattesi when they can sell him next summer.

Signing a 20/25M promising Mid with a lower salary is way better on all levels than signing sanchez with a 5M/ contract.
A 5M contract for 5 years for example means (5+5)×5 = 50 M
Plus the 15M to buy him, this means that Milan would’ve spent roughly 65M give or take to sign Sanchez on a 5M contract for 5 years. So no it wasn’t a good deal specially with his injuries…
Plus as Mendes is involved, the agent demands a hefty signing bonus too.

It’s not the Milan management, it’s the player who wanted PSG more than he wanted to join Milan. Read the papers, the player is more attracted to PSG than Milan.
If PSG was offering you almost double in salary than Milan was, You also would be more attracted to PSG than Milan.
It’s not that he didn’t want to come to Milan but that the salary offer was hard to pass by.

It’s not like he chose Leeds or Newcastle over Milan. He chose to get paid and still compete for all the important titles
