AC Milan are of many teams that are considering a move for Flamengo midfielder Joao Gomes who could be affordable, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today (via Pianeta Milan), Milan are taking a very close look at the player who comes from the same team that the Rossoneri signed Luca Paqueta and Leo Duarte from.
It is believed that he could be available for a fee that is within the budget that technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara have got available to sign a new midfielder and add more depth.
The 21-year-old has already played 99 first team games for his Brazilian side and he has scored three times.
There is going to be much more focus on signing a midfielder now that Malick Thiaw is being signed from Schalke to bring depth to the defence. Big teams such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and Lyon are also interested in Joao Gomes.
Yet another U21 which prove M&M is thinking about Serie A squad registration.
The notion that Serie A squad regsitration can be changed game by game without long timespan is HOAX.
Serie A squad registration can only be changed during transfer window or special circumtances such as multiple GK injuries. Changing it game by game can only happen during transfer window.
What are the requirements for squad registration in serie A?
Born 2001 or after do not need registration. Example: CDK, Lazetic, Thiaw
Born before 2001 need to be registered. 25 slots available for them. 8 of these 25 slots can only be used by Italian-homegrown, 4 of these 8 slots can only be used by club-homegrown.
Club-homegrown = trained in the club for at least 3 years when they were still between age 15 to 21
Italian-homegrown = trained in Italy for at least 3 years when they were still between age 15 to 21
So Milan currently sits at 27, not including Thiaw.
With Thiaw and a midfielder it will be 29.
I assume Ibra won’t be on it until January, and CDK , Thiaw, Lazetic don’t count , which bring us to 25.
Only 6 are home grown though, Calabria, Gabbia, Pobega, Mirante, Florenzi, Tonali.
So 2 will have to be left out.

Yes he is wrong, once transfer window close, it cannot be changed except under certain exception.
As for the first 3 games, Milan can still bring them in matchday squad because the transfer window is still open so the registration can be changed freely but the list of players who play on the pitch must still adhere to the registration rule.
