CM: Milan have Chelsea striker and €30m Salzburg star on wish list – the situation

AC Milan are continuing to examine various profiles who could be signed next summer to fix problem areas and take the squad to the next level, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, the search is mainly focused on a striker, specifically a new No.9 that can replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic who should retire at the end of the season, also given that Olivier Giroud is 36 and Divock Origi has not exactly had a brilliant start since his move.

One of the names on the list is Armando Broja but there are no particularly encouraging signals coming from London as Chelsea, for the time being, are not open to a negotiation for the Albania international who signed a contract renewal until 2028 after his return from a loan spell at Southampton.

The name of Noah Okafor remains near the top of the wish list too and he has decided to leave Red Bull Salzburg at the end of the season, with a current valuation of €30m.

However, in-depth evaluations will be needed tactical point of view because he is more of a second striker than a lone centre-forward. Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini, along with the scouting department, are also watching closely in France and England as they look for the striker of the future.
