The January transfer window could bring a few surprises, including the possibility of Samuel Chukwueze heading to Turkey.
According to Fanatik (via MilanNews), the agent of Chukwueze has been made aware of Milan’s willingness to let him leave next month and he has begun testing the ground regarding potential destinations.
The Nigerian winger was proposed through his entourage to Besiktas, the team where Ciro Immobile currently plays. The 25-year-old has a contract until June 2028 and cost over €20m to sign from Villarreal, yet it seems the Rossoneri are willing to give up on him.
All that remains is to understand Besiktas’ next move, as well as how the operation could take place. The two clubs must first find an agreement regarding the formula, while the player in question would have to approve of a transfer to Turkey.
At the moment, Besiktas’ presidential elections are underway which could delay things when it comes to their January plans, but new names continue to emerge that they consider to be potential targets.
Chukwueze was also linked in the past few weeks with a move to another Turkish club, namely Trabzonspor. It is possible that teams from other leagues will express an interest too, like Aston Villa.
Exchange with Semih Kilisçoy+ 5-10m
The amount of desperate sensationalism surrounding this guy. Oli clammering for chuk to start every game
He had one good match against Real Madrid and Milan management went crazy for him. If they can sell him they should just do it. I doubt that they can. He isn’t good enough. He is to predictable. The management have used 20m to get him. I don’t think milan fans went crazy over him and bought shirts with his name on. The management will have a big lose with this player.
With Bonuses he might reach E28 Million.
I was very accited about him, I admit.
But now I am very disappointed 😞
He is worst than SuSo. Keith 🇲🇹
